New Executive Director: A’naliese Towns
D’Arbonne Woods Charter School is proud to announce Mrs. A’naliese Towns as our new Executive Director.
Mrs. Towns is a native of Morehouse Parish and a graduate of Sterlington High School. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, plus 30 graduate hours, and is a certified Educational Diagnostician. Throughout her career and into her new role, she remains a passionate advocate for high-quality public charter school education.
A’naliese and her husband, Casey, reside in Marion. They have 3 children: Adalyn, Shepard, and Solomon who attend DWCS. She is a dedicated member of the D’Arbonne Woods Charter School family, and has been employed on our staff since 2010. For the past 16 years, she has invested her time in serving the students, families, and community of DWCS through various roles.
Mrs. Towns has served as a teacher in kindergarten, fifth grade, and special education. In 2018, she joined the administrative team in a new role as Special Education Supervisor. She is also a key member of the accountability team, driving initiatives that directly impact the school’s performance score. These experiences across grade levels and as a school administrator has provided her with a deep understanding of the school’s mission and the ongoing needs of students and staff.
Mrs. Towns is committed to building on the strong foundation established by those before her while continuing to uphold the tradition of academic excellence and servant leadership that makes DWCS a place where all children thrive.
We are looking forward to the next chapter at DWCS, and we would like for you to join us in congratulating Mrs. A’naliese Towns as our new Executive Director of D’Arbonne Woods Charter School.
