Open Enrollment begins- Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. CST
Last Day of Open Enrollment- Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. CST
Lottery Drawing- Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. @ DWCS Assembly Hall
Acceptance & Wait List letters mailed- Friday, March 14, 2025
Late applications will be accepted Tuesday, April 1, 2025

* The length of the enrollment period cannot be shorter than one month nor longer than three months per LDOE Act 467 Guidance: Recruitment and Enrollment

DWCS will begin to accept applications for enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year for grades K-12 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Applications will be available at the school or on our website at www.darbonnewoods.com, from Tuesday, January 21 at 8:00 a.m. – Friday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m. CST. Completed applications along with ALL required documents MUST be brought to the high school office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. We are NOT accepting applications online or by email this year.

Applications MUST be completed and resubmitted with all documentation each year if your student is not currently enrolled at DWCS.

The lottery drawing will take place Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in DWCS Assembly Hall. The lottery drawing is open to the public.

Acceptance & Wait List letters will be mailed- Friday, March 14, 2025

Please note that siblings of current DWCS students MUST apply and will be placed in the lottery drawing; siblings of current DWCS students will be given priority in the lottery drawing; however, they do not automatically receive a spot. For more information please read Enrollment Policies and Procedures established by our Board of Directors.

***A student MUST turn 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2025, to enroll in kindergarten. ***

The following documents are required when submitting the application, so please be prepared to bring these documents to the school:

*Copy of Child’s Birth Certificate
*Copy of Child’s Social Security Card
*Copy of Child’s Immunization Records
*Copy of Parent/Guardian’s Driver’s License
